  • what is the true blessed and sanctified sabbath?

Brothers in Jesus, the word of God reveals the Sabbath fixed in Eden time over the whole earth.

And God said, "Let there be light," and there was light. God saw that the light was good, and he separated the light from the darkness. God called the light "day," and the darkness he called "night." And there was sunset, and there was sunrise--the first day. (Genesis 1:3-5)

From “sunset” to “sunrise” are the 12 hours of the “night”; ending the 24 hour day that started with 12 hours of light with the creation of the light giving sun on the first day. In Genesis, just as the first day ends in sunrise, the next day begins in sunrise. The days in the week of creation are from sunrise to sunrise, as it has been the tradition of all peoples to the present since the beginning. The Sabbath observed by God with Adam and Eve was from sunrise to sunrise. This begs the question: why do the Jews observe Sabbath from sunset to sunset instead. The simple answer is that they followed God’s instructions to them personally without need to understand it like we who are not living in the promised-land need to know to stand faithful to God on the return of Jesus.

It will be unto you a Sabbath of rest, and afflict your souls: in the ninth day of the month at sunset, from sunset to sunset, you are to celebrate your Sabbath. (Leviticus 23:32)

All Jewish Sabbaths are from “sunset” to “sunset”, because the Sabbath is fixed over the whole earth in Eden time and does not circle the earth as it is observed today by the Seventh-day Adventist church.

If we want to be faithful to Jesus in His soon return, like the Protestants that put aside the traditions of the Roman Catholic Church to return to the word of God and stand faithful to Jesus till His return, we must observe the Sabbath simultaneously with its observance in Israel, no matter where we are on the surface of the earth.

United in our hope in the soon return of Jesus, Jorge.

Responding we buy all the oil from those that study the Bible personally, retaining the good.

But in your hearts set apart Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect, keeping a clear conscience, so that those who speak maliciously against your good behavior in Christ may be ashamed of their slander. (1 Peter 3:15-16 NIV)

Our vessels fill with oil to understand all revealed in His word.
